How to Collect Taxes Inside of Thrive Funnels

To set up automatic tax collection in Thrive Funnels, do this:

This will walk you through the process of setting up automatic tax collection in Thrive Funnels.

Go to your Thrive Funnels account.

Access Settings and select the Taxes tab.

Set your product price to include taxes (e.g., $9.97 includes tax, regardless of location).

Select Yes under "Tax Included in Prices."

If you want taxes calculated separately, enable Automatic Sales Tax in the settings.

Select the correct Tax Category for your product (e.g., digital goods).

Define your Nexus Addresses: States where your business collects sales tax, typically your company’s formation or operating states.


To Configure Tax Settings for Products, go to your product settings.

Scroll down to the tax options.

  1. Product Tax Code: Choose default or custom tax codes based on global settings.

  2. Include Tax in Prices: Set whether taxes are included in the price or calculated separately.

Enable Address Collection to calculate taxes accurately. If no address is enabled, only flat tax rates will apply.
